Base pay range
$80,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr Must Haves
BS in Mechanical Engineering 5+ years of applicable experience (If they don’t have 5+ years, coming from a commercial manufacturing industry/similar) Engineering experience with a track record of solving complex problems Sheet metal design and fabrication experience Strong knowledge of Creo CAD software/ CAD modeling General understanding of thermodynamic and fluid dynamic fundamentals Ability to troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve engineering, quality, and warranty issues using 8D / FRACAS processes Collaboration -cross functional work ( working closely with marketing team) Plusses
Experience with additional CAD software (Mechanical Desktop, Catia, SolidWorks) Knowledge of FEA and/or CFD tools Day to Day
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will support product development initiatives and maintain existing products to achieve business unit goals. You’ll design and develop concept models, create manufacturing drawings, manage bills of materials, and release documentation. Expect to work cross-functionally with manufacturing, suppliers, and production teams to improve quality and resolve issues. You’ll also develop prototypes, test plans, and drive continuous improvement projects related to product design and quality. Responsibilities
Develop concept designs and 3D CAD models Create manufacturing drawings and manage BOMs Coordinate cross-functional teams for new designs and improvements Work with suppliers and provide technical support to production Perform design, testing, and evaluation of mechanical/electro-mechanical systems Conduct engineering studies and analyze results Seniority level
