We are partnered with an employee‑owned, top‑tier general contractor that is building a large, ground‑up mission‑critical data center in the Abilene, Texas area. This is a high visibility project with heavy MEP, complex systems, and a fast but disciplined schedule.
Due to project growth, we are hiring multiple site‑based roles to join the core project team:
Project Managers
Superintendents (civil/structural, interiors, MEP focused)
Assistant Superintendents
QA/QC Coordinator (mission critical / MEP heavy)

About the Project
Large, ground‑up mission‑critical data center
Strong emphasis on MEP systems, commissioning and quality
Structured GC environment: safety first, planning driven, team based
Long‑term work with the potential to roll onto future mission‑critical projects
What You Will Do (Depending on Role) Project Managers
Own overall delivery for your portion of the project: budget, schedule, quality and client communication
Lead internal teams and trade partners, driving planning, risk management and change control
Oversee contracts, buyout, cost reporting and forecasting
Partner closely with Superintendents, MEP, QA/QC and the owner’s team to keep the job on track
Support RFIs, submittals, change orders and meeting documentation
Help manage procurement, tracking of materials and key milestones
Interface with field teams to keep information flowing between office and jobsite
Grow into taking ownership of work packages under a Project Manager
Lead day to day field activities for your scope and area of the project
Run subcontractor coordination, look aheads, inspections and site logistics
Drive schedule, safety and quality in partnership with project leadership
Work closely with MEP, QA/QC and Project Engineering to remove roadblocks
Assistant Superintendents
Support the Superintendent with field coordination, inspections and daily reporting
Walk the site to track progress, safety and quality items
Help manage crews, deliveries and short interval planning
Build toward taking ownership of your own area or scope
Own planning and coordination for mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems
Work with design teams and trades on sequencing, shutdowns and system tie‑ins
Track RFIs, submittals and coordination items that affect MEP work
Support testing, startup and turnover of critical building systems
Implement and maintain the project quality plan, with a focus on MEP and critical systems
Perform inspections and document non‑conformance items and corrective actions
Support commissioning, punch lists and owner turnover documentation
Partner with field teams to make sure work is installed per plans, specs and standards
Support RFIs, submittals, document control and change management
Assist with planning, tracking quantities and maintaining schedule data
Spend time in the field to understand the work, progress and constraints
Partner with the Superintendent and Project Manager to keep information flowing
What You Bring
Experience working for a general contractor on large commercial, industrial or mission‑critical / data center projects
Real exposure to MEP: coordinating with mechanical and electrical trades, not just light TI work
Strong understanding of safety, schedules and quality on complex jobsites
Comfortable with construction software such as Procore, Bluebeam and CPM scheduling tools (or similar)
Ability to work full time on site in the Abilene, Texas area for the duration of the project
