As an Onboarding, Training & Coaching Specialist, you will play a critical role in welcoming, developing, and supporting our team members as they join our mission to serve vulnerable populations. You will design and deliver comprehensive onboarding experiences, provide ongoing training and professional development, and offer coaching to ensure our staff members have the knowledge, skills, and support they need to excel in their roles and contribute to our health equity goals. Key Responsibilities

Onboarding & Integration

Design and facilitate comprehensive onboarding programs that immerse new employees in our mission, values, and commitment to addressing social determinants of health Create welcoming, inclusive onboarding experiences that honor diverse backgrounds and perspectives Collaborate with hiring managers to develop role‑specific orientation plans and ensure smooth transitions Track and measure onboarding effectiveness through surveys, feedback sessions, and performance metrics Training & Development

Assess organizational training needs related to cultural competency, trauma‑informed care, and serving vulnerable populations Develop and deliver training programs on topics including health equity, social determinants of health, community engagement, and person‑centered care Create engaging learning materials using various modalities (in‑person workshops, e‑learning, job aids, videos) Maintain a learning management system and track completion of required trainings Partner with subject matter experts to develop specialized training content Coaching & Support

Provide one‑on‑one coaching to employees to support their professional growth and development Support managers in developing their team members and addressing performance challenges Facilitate peer learning groups and communities of practice Serve as a trusted resource for employees navigating challenging situations in their work with vulnerable populations Manage and track employee performance against KPI's during initial 90 day hiring period Program Evaluation & Improvement

Continuously evaluate and refine onboarding, training, and coaching programs based on feedback and outcomes Stay current on best practices in adult learning, organizational development, and health equity training Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, Public Health, Social Work, or related field 3-5 years of experience in employee onboarding, training, coaching, or organizational development Demonstrated passion for health equity and improving outcomes for vulnerable populations Strong understanding of social determinants of health and their impact on health outcomes Excellent facilitation and presentation skills with ability to engage diverse audiences Experience designing and delivering training programs using adult learning principles Strong coaching and interpersonal skills with ability to build trust and rapport Proficiency with learning management systems and e‑learning development tools Excellent written and verbal communication skills Desired Qualifications

Master's degree in relevant field Professional certification in coaching (e.g., ICF), HR (e.g., SHRM‑CP, PHR), or training (e.g., ATD certification) Experience working in healthcare, community health, or social services settings Lived experience with or deep understanding of the challenges faced by vulnerable and underserved communities Experience with trauma‑informed approaches and cultural humility practices Experience with instructional design and curriculum development What We're Looking For
