We’re looking for a skilled
HR Generalist
to take full ownership of our HR operations in the Netherlands. In this role, you’ll be a trusted partner to our local team while helping to align and elevate HR practices across our European offices. What is it in for your?

Heerenveen, Netherlands (Hybrid — min. 2 days/week in office) You won't hear water cooler chat about the weather here at Muse, here we are rating our favorite Prince albums and discussing Japanese punk. Key Responsibilities:
Own the sickness management process for the Netherlands, ensuring full compliance with local regulations and timely coordination with employees, managers, and external partners. Handle day-to-day HR administration, ensuring accurate data and timely processing. Act as the on-site contact for employee HR questions and route complex issues to senior HR. Support recruitment, onboarding, and HR documentation for new hires. Maintain HRIS records and assist with audits, reporting, and compliance tasks. Prepare payroll inputs and coordinate with local payroll providers. Help ensure compliance with Dutch employment law and company policies. Contribute to HR projects and process improvements. Support other EU HR processes as needed. Required Experience:
2–5 years of HR generalist experience in the Netherlands. Strong understanding of Dutch employment law, especially sickness management requirements. Skilled in HRIS administration (HiBob a plus) and proficient in Excel/Google Sheets. Strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information. Excellent communication in Dutch and English. Able to work independently on site while collaborating closely with a dispersed HR team. We believe everyone in the Muse Group team is a leader.
