Overview
We are partnering with a well‑established transportation engineering firm to identify a Transportation Civil Engineer (PE) to support and lead roadway and transportation design projects throughout Northern Kentucky.
Base pay range $110,000.00/yr – $150,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
Design roadways, highways, intersections, pedestrian facilities, and transportation systems
Develop plans, models, and construction documents using MicroStation, InRoads, and/or OpenRoads
Collaborate with planners, environmental specialists, and construction teams to deliver integrated solutions
Support traffic engineering, civil site development, and transportation planning efforts
Prepare technical reports, specifications, cost estimates, and client presentations
Coordinate with clients, agencies, and stakeholders to support project delivery
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations and design standards
Contribute innovative, practical solutions that enhance safety, mobility, and sustainability
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or closely related field
Professional Engineer (PE) license
5‑10+ years of experience in transportation engineering
Prior experience working for an engineering firm specializing in transportation engineering, such as:
Roadway design
Airport design
Traffic engineering
Transportation planning
Civil site development
Proficiency with MicroStation, InRoads, and/or OpenRoads
Strong analytical, communication, and time‑management skills
Ability to work effectively in a consulting engineering environment
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. — NO H‑1B or visa sponsorship available
