Job Summary We are seeking an
experienced Residential Electrician
to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in homes and residential projects. This is not an entry level role. Applicants should be able to complete projects independently (wire a full newly constructed home with little supervision) and meet deadlines while delivering top quality work.
Note:
Out of area applicants who are open to relocating to this very desirable area of North Carolina are encouraged to apply if they meet the requirements below (See Requirements Section).
Key Responsibilities
Handle all facets of residential electrical work.
Complete projects on your own with minimal or no assistance from a Superintendent.
Lead and manage crew members effectively.
Run projects ranging from 1,000 sq. ft. to 10,000 sq. ft.
Install and troubleshoot lighting control systems and home automation.
Maintain compliance with the NEC and company safety standards.
Communicate effectively with managers and team members.
Ensure high-quality installations and take pride in your work.
Requirements
Residential Electrical experience: 5‑7 years (preferred).
NC Limited License (minimum) or City of Asheville Journeyman's card (preferred). Equivalent out of state licence acceptable if applicant is willing to take NC License exam or City card test within first 3‑6 months of hire.
OSHA 10 or 30 certification (preferred).
Valid driver’s license required.
Ability to routinely perform physical requirements (lifting, bending, climbing, color differentiation).
Experience leading crews and managing projects preferred.
Schedule
Full‑time
4 day 10‑hour shifts
Overtime as needed
Pay $24.00 – $34.00 per hour (based on experience). Hiring bonuses available.
