Offer Description Fundació Sant Joan de Déu Barcelona is looking for a
Scientific Coordinator
for the Research Group on Allergic Diseases in Childhood and Adolescence, located at the campus Sant Joan de Déu.
The successful candidate will support the Head of the Group, a leader in pediatric allergology, in response to the growing activity in clinical research. He/She will work closely with principal investigators, providing scientific, managerial, and coordination support in their research activities and in the daily management of the group.
Role Objectives:
Promote and stimulate research, providing scientific, managerial, and coordination support to the clinical service.
Foster and ensure the proper development of projects.
Enhance interaction with internal and external collaborators.
Key Responsibilities:
Scientific Production
Drive, support, draft, and prepare proposals in collaboration with the clinical service PIs for competitive calls (national and international).
Draft, promote, and support the preparation of abstracts, presentations, and scientific publications.
Communication and Coordination
Facilitate and promote interaction with international consortia, institutions, and collaborators.
Organize internal meetings, seminars, and visits from researchers.
Administrative and Logistical Management
Prepare reports and presentations related to research activity for committees, calls, or other forums requiring justification of activity.
Scientific Project Management
Monitor timelines, budgets, milestones, and deliverables.
Coordinate with other clinical services, project departments, and support units.
Scientific Dissemination
Promote and participate in outreach activities, and communication via websites and social media.
Bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences or similar.
Training in scientific methodology and statistics.
PhD or equivalent experience in scientific research.
Specific Requirements Experience
Demonstrable prior experience in research project management, clinical trials, scientific management, and research in biomedical settings.
Skills
Strong organizational and planning skills.
Ability to work autonomously and efficiently.
Ability to work in a team and in a multidisciplinary environment.
Results-oriented.
Clear and effective communication.
Other
Interest in clinical and translational research, particularly in pediatric allergology.
Languages ENGLISH Languages CATALAN Level Excellent
