Professional Land Surveyor

gpac Base pay range $80,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage survey efforts for DOT and public works projects, including topographic, ROW, LiDAR, UAV, boundary, and construction layout surveys. Prepare and review legal descriptions, ROW maps, and survey deliverables. Work directly with engineers and project managers on highway and infrastructure design. Ensure compliance with UDOT, FHWA, and local standards. Guide survey teams and mentor junior staff (as interested). Support proposals and help identify new project opportunities. Implement and maintain QA/QC for survey documents and data. Qualifications
Active Utah PLS license (or ability to obtain within 1 year). 5+ years of land surveying experience, with some leadership or PM responsibilities. Strong understanding of transportation, ROW, and boundary survey work. Experience with Trimble/Leica, Civil 3D, or similar platforms. Knowledge of Utah survey and mapping requirements (county, UDOT, or municipal). Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Ability to manage projects independently and work directly with clients. Benefits
