Assembly Mechanic – Pay Range
Base Pay Range:
$25.00/hr – $40.00/hr
Syntax Talent Solutions is seeking a skilled Assembly Mechanic to join our team. This individual will be responsible for assembling, inspecting, and testing mechanical components and systems according to specifications and engineering drawings.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble mechanical components and systems using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical instructions.
Perform quality checks to ensure components meet established standards and specifications.
Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues promptly.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety procedures and regulations.
Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.
Skills and Qualifications
Proven experience as an Assembly Mechanic or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical documents.
Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
Familiarity with hand and power tools used in assembly processes.
Basic understanding of quality control principles.
Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in mechanical assembly or a related field is preferred.
