Job Summary The Project Manager oversees all phases of metal building construction from planning through completion, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery. The role involves coordinating internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and customers while managing schedules, budgets, documentation, and communication.
Key Responsibilities
Translate sales proposals into actionable project plans, timelines, and resource needs.
Conduct site visits and review construction documents for scope alignment and risk assessment.
Assist Sales with bid development and identify constructability concerns early in the process.
Coordinate permits, inspections, and jurisdictional requirements.
Manage all project phases through BuilderTrend, including scheduling, task management, documentation, and communication logs.
Ensure field execution aligns with project timelines, quality expectations, and safety requirements.
Coordinate materials, labor, and subcontractors to keep the job progressing without delays.
Conduct regular site visits to verify progress, crew coordination, accuracy of measurements, and quality control procedures.
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during active projects.
Maintain proactive and consistent communication with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Track and manage change orders, back charges, and project costs.
Review and approve subcontractor and vendor invoices.
Ensure all project documentation is up to date in Dropbox and aligned with SBS standards.
Send customer invoices, coordinate payments, and assist with project financial closeout.
Support the GM with project data for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
Oversee final punchlists and ensure all work is completed to SBS standards.
Manage post‑completion repairs, warranty items, and client satisfaction follow‑ups.
Ensure a clean and well‑documented transition from construction to customer handoff.
