to identify an experienced
Materials Control Supervisor
to play a critical leadership role within a high-volume manufacturing operation. This position carries direct responsibility for inventory accuracy, cycle count execution, material reconciliation, and team leadership, and is ideal for a hands-on, detail-driven materials leader who thrives in a high accountability, fast-paced Tier 1 automotive environment.
Responsibilities
Lead and develop a team responsible for cycle counts and inventory accuracy
Own cycle count execution, variance resolution, and inventory reconciliation
Investigate and resolve discrepancies tied to receiving, system issues, or engineering changes
Support model year changes, launches, balance out activities, and material transitions
Partner cross-functionally to improve material flow, layout, and inventory controls
Drive continuous improvement initiatives tied to cost, accuracy, and efficiency
Ensure audit readiness and compliance with automotive quality standards

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or manufacturing-related discipline

Automotive Tier 1 supplier experience strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of cycle counts, inventory controls, and ERP systems
Familiarity with JIT manufacturing and sequencing operations
Detail-oriented, data-driven, and comfortable in a fast-paced plant
