Revenue Cycle Supervisor at Texas Oncology Full‑time, located in Richardson, Texas (3001 E. President George Bush Hwy, Suite 100)

Overview The US Oncology Network is looking for a Revenue Cycle Supervisor to join our Imaging/Diagnostics Department. The role supports daily revenue cycle operations, maximizes payments and reimbursements, and ensures compliance with US Oncology’s Compliance Program, Code of Ethics, Business Standards, and Shared Values.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily patient visit functions from point of entry to accurate adjudication, including appointment scheduling, insurance eligibility, charge processing, claim submission, payment processing, collections, and accounts receivable management.

Manage denial processes, reporting and analytics, auditing, coding, credentialing, and customer service related to revenue cycle.

Ensure quality work, meet deadlines, and adhere to SOPs; audit staff work for compliance.

Prepare monthly revenue cycle financial analysis and monitor business metrics to improve processes and guide staff toward priorities.

Champion new initiatives, facilitate change, and take ownership of implementation and problem solving.

Develop, implement, and maintain training materials on SOPs, systems, metrics, and regulations; conduct training sessions.

Coordinate front‑office duties, including scheduling, check‑in, and collection of co‑pay/co‑insurance.

Recruit, coach, evaluate, and discipline staff; enforce policy adherence.

Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree in Finance, Business or equivalent OR four years revenue cycle experience required.

At least four years of medical revenue cycle work experience with a consistent track record of achieving metrics.

Two years of experience managing, delegating, and following up on work priorities of others is strongly desired.

Strong knowledge of medical insurance billing and collections with CPT, ICD‑9, HVPCS coding and medical terminology; overall understanding of managed care products (HMO, PPO, etc.).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Physical Demands Essential duties require staying present at the employee site during scheduled hours and involve sitting or standing, talking or hearing, handling and lifting patients, manual dexterity, eye–hand coordination, and walking for extensive periods. Occasional lifting of up to 40 lbs. is required.

Work Environment Work may expose employees to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, and medical preparations. Interaction with coworkers, management, and clients is common; minimal travel by automobile may be required.
