Finance Manager – Temporary
Join Ivy Tech Community College as a Finance Manager–Temporary for a campus business office. This role oversees journal entry control, revolving fund activity, cashier and accounts receivable functions, purchasing, and accounts payable processes. Major Responsibilities
Adhere to proper internal controls and ensure compliance with college policies and the Financial Management Manual for Business Office, Bursar and Administrative Services. Process student fee payments, online entries, cash receipts, cashier reconciliations, invoices and reports, and manage collections of individual deferment accounts. Manage third‑party billing processes, including invoicing and account reconciliations. Control journal entries, purchasing and accounts payable functions for campus controls, balances and reports on revolving fund activity. Collaborate in a supportive team environment that values diverse perspectives, backgrounds and experiences. Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business, public administration or accounting (accounting preferred). Three years of related experience and two years of supervisory experience required. Proficient use of Excel spreadsheets, including pivot tables. Experience with Windows‑based PC programs required; WorkDay experience a plus. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally and respond to internal and external customer needs efficiently. Supervision
