We are seeking a dedicated, personable Accountant who can manage multiple clients virtually and on‑site. The accountant will interact with clients, staff, boards, and finance committees, and will have the opportunity to advance to a Controller‑level position.
Responsibilities
Weekly and monthly processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
Bank account and balance sheet reconciliations
Monthly financials and related analysis
Grant tracking and monitoring
Cash flow projections and monitoring
Preparation for outside audits
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
Minimum 3 years of related experience in public accounting and/or industry; 5+ years preferred
Outstanding communication skills and positive attitude
Knowledge of, or interest in, multiple accounting software packages (QuickBooks experience is a plus)
Intermediate‑level Excel skills
Willingness to travel to client offices as needed when safe
Nonprofit experience preferred, but not required
Part‑time employees are expected to work during normal business hours to best serve clients

For full‑time positions:
