Leasing Consultant

TRG Management is a premier property management company with a portfolio of over 100 properties and approximately 20,000 units. We are looking for a Leasing Consultant to join our newest lease‑up and collaborate with the property management team to deliver exceptional service to residents.
Responsibilities
Interview prospective tenants while adhering to Fair Housing Standards.
Accompany potential tenants to model apartments, explaining size, layout, amenities, and lease terms.
Complete lease agreements and collect security deposits.
Inspect property condition periodically and coordinate maintenance as needed.
Maintain a current list of available rental units and identify potential prospects.
Manage the leasing/renewal process from start to finish.
Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with residents.
Handle incoming calls and voicemails professionally.
Request applicants to submit applications and deposits per company policies and Fair Housing regulations.
Process applications for approval, update availability reports, and submit completed applications to the Property Manager.
Ensure apartments are ready for move‑in on scheduled dates.
Follow up with prospects who did not close and attempt to close the business; if unable, refer them to a sister community.
Monitor local market trends and update property comparables to stay competitive.
Ideal Candidate
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
At least 2 years of experience in customer service, hospitality, or multifamily real‑estate leasing.
Previous leasing experience is a plus, not required.
Strong customer‑service orientation and presentation skills.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience as a concierge, front‑desk attendant, or reservations agent in the hospitality industry is a bonus.
Onesite experience a plus.
