Base pay range: $20.00/hr - $28.00/hr
Position Summary Assists management with the supervision of associates in the assigned area of responsibility by assigning duties, communicating goals and feedback, training associates on processes and procedures, and providing guidance on member service approaches to resolve complaints and issues according to company guidelines. Supports the Open Door Policy, participates in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, promoting, coaching, and evaluating associates. Communicates and supports membership by providing information on membership types, programs, and benefits; processes memberships, upgrades, and credit accounts; encourages renewals; participates in sales and marketing events; maintains marketing recaps and documentation; meets membership goals; and promotes Sam's Club products and services. Provides and ensures member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, guiding technology use, handling transactions with registers or self‑checkout, and ensuring pick‑up orders are filled. Oversees the area by handling claims and returns, zoning, organizing merchandise, identifying shrink and damage, managing carts and flatbeds, assisting with item transport, and maintaining parking lot cleanliness. Completes accounting records and related documentation; follows office procedures; creates financial analysis reports; prepares deposits and cash fund transfers; investigates overages and shortages; and maintains confidentiality. Develops, communicates, and implements processes and practices to meet business needs, collaborating across departments, analyzing information, monitoring progress, and addressing improvement opportunities. Demonstrates, promotes, and supports compliance with company policies, procedures, ethics, integrity, and the Open Door Policy, and assists management with ethical and compliance issues. Leads and participates in teams by sharing resources, determining customer needs and priorities, coordinating assignments, providing feedback, and modeling adaptability. Hourly Wage Range The hourly wage range for this position is $20.00 to $28.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
Minimum Qualifications 6 months retail experience including operating front‑end equipment (e.g., cash register) AND 6 months customer service experience. Must be 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications Leading a front‑end team, supervisory experience including hiring, evaluating, mentoring, developing, and managing the workload of others.
