Accountant
Salary: $90,000 – $120,000 per year.
Location: West Palm Beach, FL.
Employment type: Full-time.
Responsibilities
Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, General Ledger, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
Liaise with the finance department to improve financial procedures.
Oversee the processing of payroll for the team, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Perform bookkeeping duties including recording financial transactions, managing invoices, and conducting bank reconciliations.
Utilize QuickBooks to track and manage company finances.
Assist in financial planning and analysis to guide strategic business decisions.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
High proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.
Experience in managing payroll.
Experience in the construction industry is a plus.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical skills and experience in creating reports and presentations.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
