Summary The Financial Services Representative builds and strengthens member relationships and introduces members to new, more efficient ways of banking online, the mobile app, and ATMs. The Financial Services Representative will learn members’ personal financial goals and recommend tailored solutions to meet their needs.
Education & Experience
High School degree or GED required.
Minimum one year of general work experience, customer service, call center, sales or branch experience required.
Minimum of six months cash handling experience preferred
Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, sales, mathematical, problem solving, multitasking and computer skills, and attention to detail required
Job Responsibilities
Work closely with new and existing members to understand their financial needs and deepen relationships
Process routine financial transactions for members efficiently and accurately (including deposits and withdrawals, loan payments, cashier’s checks, IRA) in compliance with regulations and guidelines
Provide recommendations and assist members with a wide array of financial solutions to satisfy their spending, savings, borrowing, and investing needs
Educate members to bank more efficiently using the web, mobile, and ATM
Provide financial education and services to members to help them fit banking into their everyday lives
Proactively contact members to schedule appointments to discuss their personal financial goals
Perform other duties as needed upon request by immediate supervisor

This position is eligible for our quarterly retail performance incentive program. Employees in non-commission roles may also receive an annual discretionary bonus.

Tuition reimbursement is offered to full-time employees
Exclusive employee discount of 0.96% APR on credit card loans and a 1.00% APR on all other loans through Teachers
Compensation Good faith range for this position is $23.00 to $24.50 an hour. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications and operational needs. The salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
