Summary The Financial Services Representative II builds and strengthens member relationships and introduces members to new, more efficient ways of banking online, through the mobile app, and at ATMs in person and virtually. The role involves learning members’ personal financial goals and recommending tailored solutions to meet their needs.
Education and Experience
High School degree or GED required; Bachelor’s in Business in lieu of experience will be considered.
Minimum two years of general work experience in customer service, call center, or sales with at least one year of branch experience.
Commissioned notary or the ability to obtain a notary commission within six months of starting is required.
Banking products, cross‑selling, member onboarding, new account openings, retail banking, and banking software experience preferred.
Job Responsibilities
Work closely with new and existing members to understand their financial needs and deepen relationships.
Process routine and complex financial transactions for members quickly and accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashier’s checks, and IRA transfers, in compliance with regulations and guidelines.
Provide recommendations and assist members with a wide array of financial solutions to satisfy spending, saving, borrowing, and investing needs.
Educate members on efficient use of web, mobile, and ATM banking.
Participate in off‑site membership development activities such as events and business visits to promote membership.
Uncover members’ financial goals and introduce internal business specialists to help achieve them.
Leverage phone and e‑mail for regular member outreach, including outbound sales, follow‑ups on pending recommendations and services, and proactive check‑ins.
Handle escalated member issues when necessary.
Perform other duties as needed upon request by immediate supervisor.
