Staff Tax Accountant | Tampa | $75,000 – $85,000
A role where you don’t disappear into the background.
Some firms give you work. This one gives you impact, visibility, and a future. You’ll join a 25‑person tax practice — no audit arm, no corporate sprawl, no layers to fight through — just real client work with partners who mentor, develop, and genuinely listen.
What You’ll Do
Prepare and review returns across individuals, S‑Corps, partnerships, trusts, and estates
Balanced mix of assignments
Work directly with managers and partners who want you to grow
Mentor juniors and be part of a collaborative tax bench that learns from each other
Start in‑office first year (not for control, but because they actually invest in developing people); thereafter the team typically works 2–3 days remotely with flexibility around start/finish times.
Why This Firm?
Ceiling here isn’t capped.
Every shareholder has been developed internally — no external hires at the top.
Succession real, not brochure talk: two partners nearing retirement in next 5 years, two more after.
Varied client base across closely held businesses, real estate, S‑Corps, partnerships, trusts, estates and some 990s.
Typical business clients run up to $5M in revenue.
Culture built on approachability — partners are accessible, supportive, and hands‑on.
