Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Vice President or Director to join a credit-focused hedge fund’s client services team. This role blends product specialist responsibilities with institutional account management, serving as a primary point of contact for institutional investors across the firm’s private credit strategies. The ideal candidate will have deep product knowledge, strong relationship management skills, and a proven ability to communicate complex investment concepts to sophisticated audiences.

Key Responsibilities

Institutional Relationship Management

Serve as the primary point of contact for institutional investors, including pensions, endowments, foundations, and consultants.

Manage ongoing client communications, ensuring timely delivery of portfolio updates, performance reporting, and strategic insights.

Product Specialist Functions

Act as an internal and external subject matter expert for the firm’s private credit strategies.

Partner with investment teams to translate portfolio positioning, performance drivers, and market outlook into client‑ready materials.

Fundraising & Business Development Support

Collaborate with senior leadership on capital formation initiatives for private credit products.

Participate in investor meetings, due diligence sessions, and consultant presentations.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Work closely with investment, operations, and compliance teams to ensure a seamless client experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.

8‑12 years of experience in investor relations, product specialist, or institutional client management roles within alternative asset management.

Private credit product expertise required; familiarity with structured credit, direct lending, or opportunistic credit strategies strongly preferred.

Proven ability to manage complex institutional relationships and deliver exceptional client service.
