Job Overview: Our client is a leading private credit platform with approximately $4.5 billion in assets under management. Founded in the aftermath of the 2008 financial crisis, the firm has built a strong reputation in middle‑market direct lending.
Focus on sponsored and non-sponsored transactions in the middle market
Typical deal sizes range from $40 million to $500 million
The firm leads approximately 90% of its deals, taking full ownership of structuring, documentation, and execution
Strategies include middle‑market direct lending, opportunistic lending, and a CLO platform
Currently raising its fourth fund, targeting around $2 billion
The Role: The team is seeking a
2nd or 3rd‑year Associate
to join its private credit group. This individual will play a key role in evaluating, structuring, and executing transactions across the firm’s lending strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support deal execution, including structuring and documentation
Perform detailed financial analysis and LBO modeling
Assess capital structures and provide recommendations
Collaborate with senior team members on investment decisions
Participate in both middle‑market direct lending and opportunistic lending opportunities
Ideal Candidate Profile
2–3 years of experience in private credit, leveraged finance, or related fields
Strong technical skills, including LBO modeling and capital structure analysis
Proven deal experience with multiple transaction reps
Ability to work independently and hit the ground running
Compensation & Timing
