You create a welcoming environment and manage relationships with referral sources and team members, acting as a resource to improve outcomes.

Responsibilities

Communicate with referral sources and service sites to coordinate care.

Maintain organized records and current information.

Verify benefits and coverage, communicate coverage information.

Provide required documentation to payors to assure payment.

Accurately complete billing procedures using appropriate IT systems.

Use resources to improve productivity and delegate appropriately.

Complete payroll processes accurately and on time.

Assist with cleaning, inventorying equipment, and ordering supplies.

Report compliance concerns to administrative staff.

Manage supplies through setting and maintaining par levels.

Demonstrate initiative to improve quality and maximize patient experience.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or GED required.

Experience: Two years of billing, financial counseling, EMR or healthcare experience preferred; flexible to learn additional IT applications. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Effective communication with diverse backgrounds. Basic computer skills.

Other: Use of customary equipment for essential functions.
