Position Summary This position spans both internal and external accounting and reporting for Energizer’s consolidated global financial results including quarterly and annual SEC filings.
Responsibilities
Preparation of financial information related to 10-Q and 10-K filings.
Research for technical accounting issues and addressing accounting policy questions.
Compile external reporting data, including financials for press releases, SEC filings, benefit plan and other government filings.
Cross-functional training to assist with the monthly close and consolidation process.
Support continuous process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the Company’s financial reporting process.
Draft the 10‑Q / 10‑K filings within wdesk.
Ensure accurate and timely filing of the Company’s 10‑Q/10‑K/8‑K filings with the SEC.
Assist with completing the annual goodwill and intangible asset impairment analysis
Coordinate and liaison with internal and external auditors, assisting in problem‑solving, ensuring audit requests are received timely manner, and connecting auditors to various functions/management as needed.
Ensure compliance with external reporting requirements for SEC‑mandated XBRL tagging.
Assist in ad hoc reporting for management.
Assist in all aspects of new FASB ASC adoptions or new external reporting‑related SEC amendments.
Owner of updating and maintenance of Energizer Financial Policies & Procedures manuals
Prepare quarterly footnote and supporting schedules for Press Release, 10Q/K filings
Research accounting issues as requested.
Preparation of the earnings per share calculations
Review and analysis of consolidated financial statements.
Coordinate the completion of all government‑required surveys and questionnaires.
Assist with the North America and Corporate fixed asset management
Assist with accounting for the Company’s leases globally
What we are looking for
Bachelor’s Degree (4 year undergraduate) in Accounting or related field required, CPA Preferred
2-3 years of accounting experience, including Big 4 public accounting experience
Strong Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including high proficiency with Excel and proficiency in PowerPoint, and Word
Willingness to work in all aspects of U.S. GAAP and the various reporting requirements of public entities
Ability to balance priorities, as well as maintaining a strict level of confidentiality
Experience with SEC filings for public companies
Strong communication skills, including the ability to summarize and present data in a concise and understandable manner
Making information understandable to a broad audience - from other accountants to CFO
Ability to prepare quality work under fast, high‑pressure situations
Self‑starter that works well in a team environment
Ability to quickly adapt to new systems and processes
Wdesk experience
Experience with SAP, Central Finance, and/or Group Reporting consolidations systems

Total Rewards Package The salary range for this position is USD $77,000.00/Yr. - USD $105,000.00/Yr.
Actual base salary offered to a candidate may vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
