Project Civil Engineer
MBL Land Development & Permitting is seeking a Project Civil Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the project manager and project team with designing and permitting residential, commercial, industrial and municipal projects.
What You'll Do
Create detailed site plans including site layout, grading & drainage and septic design plans using AutoCAD.
Perform drainage design calculations and prepare stormwater reports using HydroCAD and Microsoft applications.
Perform septic design calculations, including pressure dosed and pump designs.
Prepare wetland permitting applications and reports, including Notices of Intent and Requests for Determination of Applicability, etc.
Support project coordination from concept through construction.
Assist with project permitting, including project submissions and presentations at public hearings.
Perform construction inspections as needed.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience.
EIT Certification at a minimum.
4+ years of civil engineering design experience.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
Self-motivated and eager to learn new skills and technologies.
Strong communication, listening, and writing abilities.
Adaptability to changing workloads with the ability to take on new roles and delegate effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
Soil Evaluator License preferred, not required.
PE preferred, not required.
