Our client is a well-established civil engineering and land surveying firm serving residential, commercial, and industrial development projects across Massachusetts and New England. They are seeking a Civil Engineer Project Manager to lead site and land development projects from design through permitting and construction support. This is an onsite, hands‑on role working closely with partners, project managers, and municipal agencies. What You’ll Be Doing
Manage civil engineering projects from concept to completion Prepare site layout, grading, drainage, and utility designs Design stormwater management systems Coordinate with clients, municipalities, and consultants Support permitting and regulatory approval processes Track project schedules, budgets, and deliverables Ensure designs meet local, state, and environmental regulations Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering EIT / FE certification (required) 3+ years of civil or site engineering experience Proficiency with AutoCAD Experience with stormwater management design Strong project management and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication Valid driver's license Preferred / Nice to Have
Professional Engineer (PE) license Soil Evaluator Certification Experience with HydroCAD Familiarity with Massachusetts permitting processes Land development project experience Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $95,000 – $120,000 (based on experience) Performance‑based bonus Health & dental insurance 401(k) with employer match Paid time off Paid parental leave
