Responsibilities
Serve as a member of the Service Department, organized to conduct HVACR servicing jobs promptly and efficiently.
Perform routine HVAC service activities without direct oversight or on‑site assistance.
Conduct point‑of‑work sales of IAQ services, unit components, add‑on units, and residential & commercial service contracts.
Develop lead referrals for the sales staff.
Perform non‑service work in support of the Service Manager and assist the Installation Departments as assigned.
Perform related duties as directed by the Service Manager.
Job Qualifications
High school graduate.
For a journeyman position, graduate of a post‑secondary HVAC program of instruction of two or more years in duration.
One or more years of successful experience as a residential service, commercial service, or installation technician.
Good verbal and reading skills, including the ability to read and apply manufacturers’ instructions and to clearly communicate with residential and commercial customers, suppliers, and team members.
Physical ability to perform all duties noted above under the conditions, circumstances, and extreme weather conditions found in the state of WA.
Interest and initiative in maintaining and advancing HVAC skills through a combination of self‑study, company training, manufacturers’ workshops, and other professional development activities.
Current WDL and ability to operate all vehicles in the corporate fleet within 30 days of initial employment. Incumbent must be insurable by Serenity Air’s insurance carrier.
Ability to pass a background check.
Ability to pass a drug screening.
Ability to work under pressures of time, weather, confined spaces, customer needs, and backlog constraints.
