Responsibilities
Perform calibration and preventative maintenance on basic industrial weighing equipment without assistance.
Assist others on installations, projects and repairs as necessary.
Attain and maintain a Class B CDL and Weights & Measures licenses as required.
Provide end‑user training and support customers in a professional manner.
Submit accurate paperwork and maintain daily records via company laptop.
Promote and sell service and products, submitting sales leads at a level commensurate with experience.
Ensure compliance with all company and customer safety and quality policies.
Maintain close professional relationships with external and internal customers, sales, technicians and leaders.
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license; Class B CDL required.
High School Diploma or GED, or 5 years relevant experience in technical support, troubleshooting or installation.
Associate’s degree preferred.
Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical repair philosophies.
1‑3 years electro‑mechanical repair or weighing industry experience.
Demonstrated skill in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to learn proprietary software and review/update information using METTLER TOLEDO programs.
Travel up to 10‑25% for business; overnight travel possible.
Residence within the service territory.
Willingness to wear special protective equipment and work in hazardous environments.
