We’re hiring an Account Manager to join a growing, Columbus-based landscaping and grounds management company known for its professionalism, customer service, and community values. About the Role
This role reports directly to the CEO and is a key player in client satisfaction, contract execution, and long-term relationship development. You’ll serve as the main point of contact for a set of customer accounts, ensuring seamless communication, proactive site visits, timely estimates, and strategic recommendations that contribute to our clients’ success—and ours. Responsibilities
Own customer communication and build long-lasting relationships Conduct site inspections, gather feedback, and suggest service improvements Support contract negotiations and proposal presentations Monitor account profitability, project status, and billing alignment Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, production, and leadership teams Stay current with landscaping industry trends and customer expectations Qualifications
2+ years of B2B Account Management or Project Management experience in the Commercial Landscaping field. Strong verbal and written communication skills Confidence in negotiation and presenting proposals Detail-oriented and organized; strong follow-through on tasks Valid Ohio Driver’s License; able to travel locally to customer sites Tech-savvy: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); LMN a plus Required Skills
Landscaping or grounds maintenance industry experience Experience with LMN software or CRM systems Prior exposure to SAP or QuickBooks tools for contract and invoicing tracking Preferred Skills
A high level of integrity and professionalism A team-first attitude, coachable mindset, and problem-solving approach Strong emotional intelligence—able to diffuse escalations tactfully Passion for outdoor environments and client excellence Pay range and compensation package
