$65,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and complete federal and state tax returns for individuals, businesses, and estates, including Forms 1040, 1041, 1065, 1120S, and 1120
Assist clients with bookkeeping questions and support using QuickBooks
Support quarterly and annual payroll filings as needed
Communicate professionally with clients to gather documentation, answer questions, and ensure timely, accurate filings
Assist team members with tax research and reporting tasks
Maintain accuracy, organization, and confidentiality across all client records and filings
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of tax return preparation experience
Experience preparing individual and business returns required
Familiarity with UltraTax is a plus
Experience working with QuickBooks
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Accounting degree preferred but not required
CPA candidate, CPA, or EA credential is a plus
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Self‑motivated, dependable, and comfortable working independently
Open to feedback and committed to continuous learning and process improvement
Professional demeanor with a strong commitment to client confidentiality
