Senior Compensation Analyst - Full Time
Location: Erlanger Baroness Hospital, Chattanooga, TN
Job Summary As a Human Resources Professional, the Senior Compensation Analyst works independently, managing multiple timelines and priorities. The primary responsibilities include providing salary recommendations to recruiters and leaders, conducting job and market analyses for pay range and FLSA status, participating in salary surveys, researching market competitiveness, pay equity, and compensation trends, creating pay grades, investigating and resolving employee compensation issues, conducting wage and hour audits for DOL FLSA compliance, ensuring adherence to organizational compensation policies and procedures, creating new or reactivating existing job codes, setting up new cost centers in PeopleSoft, updating the Tree Manager, and updating managers in the Kronsys system. The analyst may supervise other Compensation Analyst activities as required.
Key Responsibilities
Provide salary recommendations to recruiters and leaders.
Conduct job and market analyses to determine pay range and FLSA status.
Participate in salary surveys and research market competitiveness, pay equity, and compensation trends.
Create pay grades relative to indented ranges.
Investigate and resolve employee compensation problems.
Conduct wage and hour audits to ensure DOL FLSA compliance.
Ensure adherence to compensation policies, procedures, and practices.
Create and maintain job codes, cost centers, and PeopleSoft tables.
Update Tree Manager and Kronsys managers.
Supervise activities of Compensation Analysts.
Assist leaders with preparations of annual operating budgets.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
Experience:
Three years in compensation or Human Resources field.
Proficiency in research and data analysis.
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and work independently.
Professional, tactful, and timely conflict-resolution skills.
Preferred:
Knowledge of DOL FLSA regulations, PeopleSoft, and Kronos Systems.
