Responsibilities

Create, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright for UI testing.

Build and execute API test automation using Postman and Rest Assured.

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Jenkins.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into test cases.

Perform functional, regression, and integration testing across web and API layers.

Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with developers to resolve issues.

Maintain and enhance existing UFT test suites as needed.

Lead automation activities across projects and drive new automation initiatives as a subject‑matter expert.

Required Skills

Hands‑on experience with Playwright for web application automation.

Advanced API testing and scripting with Postman.

Java‑based API automation using Rest Assured.

Familiarity with UFT (Unified Functional Testing) for test script execution.

Experience setting up and managing CI workflows with GitHub Actions.

Pipeline creation and test integration with Jenkins.

Understanding of RESTful services, JSON/XML, and HTTP protocols.

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Familiarity with Git, JIRA, and test management tools.

Preferred Skills

Additional experience with other test automation frameworks or continuous integration tools.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

At least 5 years of experience in QA automation focusing on web and API testing.

Base compensation range: $70,000 – $93,767 per year.
