Akkodis is seeking an

Automation SME

for a

Contract

with a client in

Raleigh, NC(Remote).

You will design and implement robust test automation frameworks for mobile and web applications, ensuring seamless integration with CI/CD pipelines.

Rate Range:

$45/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Automation SME job responsibilities include:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for mobile and web applications using tools like Appium, Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.

Implement API automation testing with tools such as Postman or Rest Assured to ensure robust backend validation.

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI for continuous delivery.

Perform database testing and validate stored procedures using SQL for data integrity.

Collaborate with product owners and developers to build effective, scalable automation suites and mentor junior team members.

Ensure test coverage for performance, security, and cross-platform compatibility, leveraging cloud-based testing platforms like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum 5+ years of experience in test automation for mobile and web applications.

Strong hands‑on experience with automation frameworks such as Appium, Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium, and API testing tools like Postman or Rest Assured.

Proficiency in programming languages (TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, or Kotlin) and experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitHub Actions.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $49.00 per hour
