Job Summary:

The

Solid Waste Engineer/Project Manager , reports to a principal of the firm and participates in a diverse and dynamic portfolio of projects for commercial, municipal, and industrial solid waste clients in Maine and the northeastern United States.

The

Solid Waste Engineer/Project Manager

has an exceptional opportunity to work on a wide variety of solid waste management and civil engineering related projects.

As an SME

Solid Waste Engineer/Project Manager

you will be responsible for:

Project management

Engineering and design

Technical reports and specifications

Construction engineering inspection and documentation services

Preparation of permits

Engineering tasks to support our Cumberland, Maine, office

as well as:

Maintaining a high level of organizational skills to keep tasks on schedule, and

Being an integral team member and problem solver who is adept at developing practical, cost-effective solutions that serve our clients well.

Required skills and qualifications:

B.S. degree in Environmental Engineering or Civil Engineering, with 10+ years of experience

Professional Engineer’s license, or willingness to obtain within one year

Engineering design experience, including site grading, stormwater management, geosynthetics, pump and piping systems, and drafting of technical reports and specifications

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD software

Experience with local, state, and federal permitting, and

Effective oral and written communication skills are essential.
