As the Fire Systems Technician you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day maintenance functions that keep the park running smoothly.
Job Summary The Engineering/Maintenance team is responsible for opening properties prior to guest arrival, maintenance and repair during the season and closing properties at the end of the season. The Fire Systems Technicians will assist with performing inspections, testing, and repair of fire sprinkler, alarm and burglar systems.
The Details Position Type: Seasonal Season Dates: March 2026 - November 2026 Pay: $20.75 - $23.70 per hour Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities
Assists with performing inspections, testing, and repair of fire sprinkler, alarm, and burglar systems.
Assists the Fire Alarm Technician with installation and maintenance of security systems.
Assists with coordinating fire systems activities with the facility and project department, National Park Service, Location Management and Maintenance Personnel.
Assists with receiving, storing and shipping used batteries for recycling.
Qualifications
Working knowledge of general repair and maintenance operations.
Must be able to communicate efficiently at all levels.
Must be at least 21 years old and have valid driver’s license; good driving record required.
This position requires a DOT Physical.
Physical Requirements
May require the use of respiratory protection and will require compliance with applicable regulations.
Capable of lifting and moving objects weighing up to 70 pounds.
Possess the physical stamina to withstand heavy, labor-related work in an outside environment, including standing, bending, kneeling and crawling for extended period of time.
Ability to walk long distances over uneven terrain and climb stairs and ladders in all types of weather conditions.
