Military service members and veterans with ranks from E5‑E9, W1‑CW5, or O3‑O6, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and experience are encouraged to apply.

Inspect, test, service, repair, calibrate, and install flow meters, pressure transmitters, gauges, thermometers, regulators, and related instrumentation in a power station.

Identify causes of instrument malfunctions, report findings, and replace component parts as required.

Perform preventive maintenance and calibrate advanced instrumentation systems for peak performance.

Lead control system upgrade projects, provide training and guidance to less experienced technicians, and perform engineering functions for control loop modifications.

Instrument Technician II:

3 years of related experience in instrumentation and control.

Instrument Technician III:

5 years of related experience in instrumentation and control.

Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot various components and utilize configuration drawings.

Valid driver’s license.

Mastery of AC and DC instrumentation theory and practical applications.

Experience with advanced control systems and diagnosing complex instrumentation and control loops.

Expertise in interpreting and creating complex schematics, instrumentation diagrams, and detailed control system designs.

High‑level proficiency in calibrating, installing, and optimizing advanced instrumentation systems.

Preference for fossil power station instrumentation and controls experience.

Experience maintaining and troubleshooting Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS).

Start‑up/operational support experience for fossil power plants.

Experience with GE MARK 6e, Emerson‑Ovation platform, and PLC ladder logic programming.

Availability and flexibility to work overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays.
