PAY RATE:
$22.49 - $23.67 per hour

Job Summary And Purpose The Job Developer serves on a team as the central point of contact to coordinate and provide job placement and support services for assigned clients.
Duties And Responsibilities
Develop an individualized employment plan and a service plan for each participant.
Conduct employability assessments and comprehensive screenings, identifying barriers and designing job readiness skills training (resume preparation, interviewing, job search techniques).
Provide career counseling and job coaching, including labor market trends, and coordinate job skills training and job retention support.
Arrange interviews with employers and work with participants on job retention issues.
Develop and maintain relationships with local employers to create long‑term placement opportunities.
Coordinate with EDD Worksource Centers, Department of Rehabilitation, Los Angeles Unified School District, and other community and faith‑based providers to ensure participants have access to necessary services.
Meet regularly with program participants to aid their job search and refer community services.
Monitor and track job placement activities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Assessment and development of Employment and Service Plans.
Career counseling and job coaching.
Develop relationships with local employers.
Develop linkages with other agencies/resources.
Capacity building – motivating participant progress.
Monitor participants, track progress, timely report.
Other duties as required (subject to change).
Qualifications
Must pass a fingerprint clearance, background check, and verify employment and education.
High school diploma or GED (must be over 18).
1 year of experience in case management or as a job developer.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
U.S. Armed Forces veteran is strongly preferred (not required).
Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred).
