CMM Programmer/Operator

Basin Holdings . Pay Range: $20–$22 hourly based on skills and experience. Reports To: Plant Manager, Department Engineering. FLSA Status: Non-Exempt. EEO Classification: Operatives. Essential Functions
Program and operate CMMs (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, or similar) to inspect complex metal parts and assemblies. Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to develop accurate measurement routines. Perform first article inspections (FAI), in-process inspections, and final inspections. Analyze measurement data and generate detailed inspection reports. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve dimensional issues and improve manufacturing processes. Maintain calibration and preventive maintenance schedules for CMM equipment. Ensure compliance with ISO, ASME, and customer-specific quality standards. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in manufacturing, engineering, or related field preferred. Minimum 2–3 years of experience in CMM programming and operation within a metal fabrication or precision machining environment. Proficiency in CMM software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, or equivalent). Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing). Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and 3D CAD models. Familiarity with metal fabrication processes such as welding, forming, and CNC machining. Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Physical & Work Environment Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs. as needed. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
