Salary Range:
$56,000 - $88,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
Develop and validate CMM inspection programs using CAD models and engineering drawings.
Interpret complex GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) requirements for measurement.
Perform First Article Inspection (FAI), in-process, and final product inspections.
Analyze measurement data, identify non-conformances, and generate detailed inspection reports.
Troubleshoot CMM program errors and optimize inspection routines for efficiency and accuracy.
Select, set up, and calibrate appropriate CMM probes, fixtures, and work holding devices.
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve measurement challenges.
Recommended Qualifications
Proficiency in CMM programming software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS).
In-depth knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5.
Ability to read and interpret complex engineering blueprints and 3D CAD models.
Experience with CMM operation, calibration, and maintenance procedures.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills for measurement data and CMM programs.
Bonus Qualifications
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) for model manipulation and fixture design.
Experience with multiple CMM software platforms beyond the primary (e.g., Polyworks, Calypso, MCOSMOS).
Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and data analysis for quality improvement initiatives.
Experience with other advanced metrology equipment such as laser scanners or vision systems.
