We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Systems Administrator III – Compliance to join our dynamic IT team. The role will be focused on ensuring IT assets, systems, and services meet legal and regulatory requirements and that our organization meets the requirements of the NIST800-171 framework and the CMMC Program. The ideal candidate will be proficient in digital data gathering and analysis techniques, including expertise with computers, networks, end‑point devices, various operating systems, and mobile devices, and will be knowledgeable in general governance, compliance, audit concepts, and skilled in applying risk management principles, assessments, and metrics.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with the NIST800-171 framework and the CMMC Program.
Verify that IT assets, systems, and services meet legal and regulatory requirements.
Collect and analyze digital data across computers, networks, endpoint devices, and mobile platforms.
Perform risk assessments and develop metrics to support compliance initiatives.
Qualifications You Must Have
Bachelor’s Degree in an information technology related field with at least 6 or more years of relevant experience.
Higher education may substitute for relevant experience.
Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education.
Prior experience with systems administration in Windows or Linux environments.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with others.
Proven organizational skills with an attention to detail.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and industry compliance standards.
Knowledge of security protocols, encryption, and data protection.
Familiarity with identity management, including Microsoft Active Directory and Azure Entra.
Experience with compliance reporting tools and methodologies.
Experience with Endpoint Engineering.
Qualifications We Prefer
Familiarity with networking and firewall solutions.
Experience participating in audits and assessments.
Understanding of Framework NIST 800-171.
Familiarity with virtual machines, storage, cloud and compute solutions.
Familiarity with desktop and server operating systems, including MDM solutions.
Experience with ServiceNow IRM platform.
