About the Job The Financial Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the financial health and growth of the organization. This position is responsible for transforming financial and operational data into actionable insights that guide business decisions across manufacturing, supply chain, sales, and product development. The role requires a strong understanding of cost structures, inventory dynamics, and margin performance within a fast-moving beauty supply manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable partnering with cross-functional teams to improve profitability, efficiency, and financial visibility.
Working Relationship Reporting to the CFO, this individual must be able to work independently and will work directly with the leadership teams in all departments: Operations & Manufacturing, Supply Chain & Procurement, Sales & Marketing, Product Development.
Responsibilities
Support strategic and operational decision‑making by providing accurate financial analysis, reporting, and insights across manufacturing, sales, and supply chain functions.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
Analyze variances between actual results and budget/forecast and communicate key drivers.
Monitor and analyze cost of goods sold (COGS), manufacturing costs, and production efficiencies.
Evaluate product, customer, and channel profitability and margin performance.
Support pricing strategies, promotional analysis, and new product launch evaluations.
Analyze inventory levels, turns, and obsolescence to support working capital management.
Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs for management.
Partner with accounting during month‑end close and ensure data accuracy across systems.
Collaborate with operations, supply chain, sales, and product teams to support data‑driven decisions.
Requirements
Master’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities across departments.
Knowledge of inventory planning, logistics, procurement, and production processes.
Experience with demand forecasting and supply planning tools is a plus.
Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
Education Master’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
