The Claims Specialist is responsible for investigating, processing, and resolving parcel shipment claims. This role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to manage documentation and data accurately in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
Roles & Responsibilities
Investigate and process parcel shipment claims in a timely and accurate manner
Collect, review, verify, and maintain all required claim documentation
Process claim payments in accordance with company policies and procedures
Communicate with carriers and internal teams via phone and email
Provide support to co‑workers and assist with additional duties as assigned by management
Perform filing, scanning, data entry, and message handling
Complete other related duties as required
Required Skills
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables
Highly organized, dependable, and detail‑oriented
Ability to multitask and perform accurately in a high‑paced, team‑oriented environment
Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct errors
Capable of performing repetitive tasks with consistency and accuracy
College degree preferred
Minimum Years of Experience 2 Years
