Responsibilities
30%:
Greets and assists members by providing general information about loan products, interest rates, and other information (as necessary) in a manner which preserves member privacy and confidentiality. Schedules quality appointments and ensures borrowers are prepared. General knowledge of the credit union with high member service and independent troubleshooting. Responsible for intake of member documentation, making copies and scanning items to appropriate team members.
25%:
Manages the Mortgage Inbox in a timely manner, including responding to member inquiries, online application assignment and cleanup, sending and maintaining member intro email templates, monitoring and assigning Document Center notifications, and assigning incoming AccountChek results. Maintains online and coverage tracking sheets and rush coverage schedule.
25%:
Provides administrative support to Mortgage Sales Managers, VP of Mortgage Lending, and others in the Mortgage Department. Includes coordinating repair/maintenance of departmental equipment, ordering supplies, updating and maintaining forms and disclosures in the internal loan drive and Document Library, and assisting with Saturday scheduling for Mortgage Loan Officers.

Exhibits problem‑solving and decision‑making skills, utilizing department and investor resources as needed. Assists members by cross‑selling other credit union programs and services.

Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
Qualifications
A minimum of one year up to three years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
High‑school degree, or equivalent. Incumbents must maintain their registration active, and current, with the National Mortgage Licensing System throughout employment.
Interpersonal Skills
Significant level of trust, credibility and diplomacy is required to be an effective subject matter expert. In‑depth dialogues, conversations and explanations with customers, direct and indirect reports and outside vendors of a sensitive and/or highly confidential nature are common.
Communications can involve motivating, influencing, educating and/or advising others on matters of significance.
Other Skills
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Favorable background, credit, criminal, bondability, and reference checks required. (Motor vehicle check dependent on position.)
Travel to other branches or locations may be required depending on position.
Knowledge of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac guidelines is required.
Bilingual skills are a plus.
ADA and Physical Requirements
Is able to bend, sit, and stand in order to perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs.
Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation.
Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals, keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators.
Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6‑8 hours per day, when necessary.
Must be able to work extended hours or travel off‑site whenever required or requested by management.
Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.
Working Conditions
Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in a climate‑controlled shared work area with minimal noise.
Mental and/or Emotional Requirements
Must be able to perform job functions independently or with limited supervision and work effectively either alone or as part of a team.
