An emerging investment platform is seeking to hire two professionals to join its Private Credit team: one Associate and one Principal. The firm specializes in originating, structuring, and executing private credit transactions across the U.S. lower middle market, with a focus on asset-backed lending, recurring revenue finance, and structured credit solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the execution of private credit transactions, from initial structuring through closing.
Evaluate and support custom credit solutions, including senior, mezzanine, and hybrid structures.
Review and coordinate legal documentation with external counsel to ensure alignment with deal terms.
Assist with underwriting, diligence, and risk assessment across various deal types.
Draft and refine materials for the Investment Committee.
Act as an internal liaison across legal, operations, and investor relations teams.
Qualifications
3-6 years of experience in private credit, structured lending, leveraged finance, or related fields.
Strong understanding of credit structuring, documentation, and execution mechanics.
Exposure to mid-market or asset-backed transactions preferred.
Excellent financial modeling and legal interpretation skills.
Exceptional organizational and communication abilities.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a detail-oriented, ownership-driven approach.
