Senior Human Resources and Payroll Recruiter @ Frazer Jones | Talent Acquisition, Strategic Communications Representing a mission‑driven, community‑focused nonprofit organization, we are proud to be leading the search for a Human Resources Manager owning the entire Talent Acquisition function. This newly created role will lead a small team and deliver a high‑impact talent strategy focused on recruitment, retention, and compliance.

4 days on site - WFH Fridays

2 Direct Reports

Base pay range $120,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

Leading, mentoring, and developing two recruiters and a dotted line HR coordinator.

Owning full‑cycle recruitment for critical roles, including social worker positions and other hard‑to‑fill roles.

Designing and implementing retention strategies to reduce turnover and strengthen engagement.

Managing compliance across HR and talent acquisition processes.

Building strategies for per diem roles to reduce temporary staffing costs.

Supporting future HRIS and ATS implementation projects.

Holding select requisitions personally to ensure timely and effective hiring.

Collaborating with leadership on workforce planning and scheduling, including employee schedules.

Driving process improvements and best practices across the talent function.

Qualifications

HR or talent acquisition professional with 7+ years of experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.

Proven experience managing recruitment in complex environments, ideally within nonprofit or supportive housing sectors.

Strong understanding of compliance and labor regulations.

Hands‑on leader with the ability to coach and develop team members.

Experience with HR systems and ATS platforms (implementation experience preferred).

Strategic thinker with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
