We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR/Payroll Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role supports our HR and payroll functions while providing general administrative assistance across departments. You’ll be a key player in maintaining smooth operations and fostering a positive employee experience.
Responsibilities
Process payroll entries accurately and on time. Assist hiring managers with job postings, candidate screening, and offer letters Onboard new employees and maintain personnel files Coordinate medical insurance onboarding and market research Support staff with HR-related inquiries and needs Conduct exit interviews and employee satisfaction meetings Provide general administrative support during slower periods Ensure I-9 compliance and manage employment verification Assist planning company events Support disciplinary documentation Maintain L&I paperwork and communications Update employee handbook and compliance posters across 3 locations Other duties as assigned Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field Minimum 2 years of HR experience Proficient in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel) Strong understanding of employment laws (ADA, FMLA, WC, I-9, etc.) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Professional, approachable, and discreet with confidential matters Highly organized, detail-oriented, and flexible Able to build trust and communicate effectively across all levels Job Types
Full-time, in-person (this is not a remote position) Compensation
$26 to $32 per hour, depending on education and experience. All employees are eligible to participate in the bonus program. Mileage reimbursement provided for personal vehicle use during business activities. Full-Time Employee Benefits
