Position Summary The Workers’ Compensation Specialist will manage and administer the company’s workers’ compensation program, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. This role involves coordinating claims, working with insurance carriers, and supporting injured employees throughout the recovery process.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and monitor all workers’ compensation claims from initial report to closure.

Serve as the primary liaison between employees, insurance carriers, medical providers, and internal stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with OSHA, state, and federal workers’ compensation laws.

Maintain accurate records and documentation for all claims.

Analyze claims data to identify trends and recommend safety improvements.

Assist with return-to-work programs and modified duty assignments.

Prepare reports for management and regulatory agencies as required.

Qualifications

Education:

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience:

2–4 years of experience in workers’ compensation administration or claims management.

Knowledge of OSHA regulations and state workers’ compensation laws.

Skills:

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
