Our team is growing! The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is looking for Research Associates, Sr. Research Associates, and Senior Scientists to provide research support administration services for our government customer in
Fort Sam Houston, Texas .
REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in biology, physiology, chemistry, or related field is required; however, animal research experience will be taken into consideration in lieu of a degree on a case-by-case basis.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Ten plus (10+) years’ Experience working with small animals such as rodents, rabbits, and mice
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Trauma related biomedical research in a DoD environment highly desired
Some experience with benchwork is desired
Any certification(s) through AALAS (i.e. - ALAT, LAT, and/or LATG) are a huge plus
REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Candidates must be able to pass a favorable adjudicated National Agency Check with Inquiries
