Position Description
Provide on-site and remote technical support for Mujin’s robotic systems, including troubleshooting, maintenance, upgrades, and repairs.
Perform system installations, including setup of robot arms, controllers, vision systems, sensors, demo cells, and end‑of‑arm tooling.
Lead or support configuration and commissioning of Mujin Controllers and associated automation components at customer sites.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software‑related issues; escalate as needed using formal RCA processes.
Collaborate with the Integration team on demo setups and custom part fabrication (frames, gripper parts, mounts, etc.).
Maintain documentation of service work, RCAs, and configuration changes in the ticketing and reporting systems (e.g., Freshdesk).
Engage with customers and internal teams to improve support tools, system performance, and deployment processes.
Participate in the Patch Implementation and Post‑Deployment Review processes as needed.
Support and mentor junior technicians as part of the long‑term support roadmap.

Position Requirements
Associate’s degree in a robotics or technical field
3+ years of field engineering, robotics support, or industrial automation
Proven expertise in PLC programming, electrical panel wiring, and mechanical diagnostics.
Hands‑on experience with robot arms, conveyors, vision systems, and pneumatics.
Ability to read and interpret CAD and electrical schematics (AutoCAD/Inventor preferred).
Familiarity with compressed air systems and sizing for automation.
Desired Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Robotics, or Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent industry certifications and hands‑on experience.
Basic scripting or debugging experience in Python, Linux, or similar environments.
Knowledge of industrial safety standards and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
Certifications in PLC programming (Allen Bradley, Siemens, etc.)
Experience with AMRs, industrial sensors, vacuum systems, or grippers.
Experience in customer‑facing roles requiring direct communication and problem resolution.
Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Freshdesk) and formal RCA documentation.
Ability to support or lead system installations, upgrades, and patches.
Physical Demands/ Work Environment
Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time (mostly domestic).
When not deployed, expected to report to Mujin’s Suwanee, GA office for integration support and ongoing technical development.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Prolonged periods working in industrial/ warehouse settings
Ability to work extended hours as required
