Key Responsibilities
Perform routine preventative maintenance on robotic systems to ensure optimal performance.
Diagnose and troubleshoot complex robotic malfunctions using schematics and diagnostic tools.
Execute repairs and replacements of defective robotic components, including motors, sensors, and controllers.
Assist with the installation, commissioning, and integration of new robotic cells and automation equipment.
Conduct basic programming adjustments and modify robot paths to optimize manufacturing processes.
Calibrate robotic systems to maintain precision and accuracy in production operations.
Document maintenance activities, repairs, and system performance for record-keeping and analysis.
Recommended Qualifications
Associate's degree or technical certification in Robotics, Mechatronics, or Industrial Automation.
2+ years of hands-on experience with industrial robots (e.g., Fanuc, ABB, KUKA) in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in robot programming, teach pendant operation, and advanced troubleshooting techniques.
Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals.
Experience with PLC programming (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens) and HMI configuration.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence).
Basic proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for reviewing layouts or tooling.
Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet).
Experience in optimizing preventative maintenance schedules for robotic systems.
